Mohegan Lake Audi (MLA) has provided quality service to its clients in the Hudson Valley of New York state for over 50 years. Their dealership, located on the main highway through the town, was in an excellent location; however, it was undersized and did not properly convey the Audi brand.
Taking a design/build approach, MLA partnered with SSP and REDCOM to expand and renovate their facility, increasing their square footage by almost 60%. A new 10,000 square foot addition houses a new service shop, which allowed for the showroom to expand in the existing 16,000 square foot building. This construction sequence worked around MLA operations, allowing them to keep open during the 20 month construction timeline.
Of paramount importance to MLA was meeting the Audi North America (ANA) branding guidelines. SSP worked diligently with MLA, ANA, and REDCOM to ensure that the completed facility would both enhance the MLA customer experience, but also adhere to the ANA branding.
The end result is a modern, improved facility, befitting MLA’s commitment to its customers, and the Audi brand as a whole.
