Fossil Park of Rowan University

What has now evolved into the Jean & Ric Edelman Fossil Park at Rowan University in Manta, NJ started with a SSP master plan study to evaluate the potential of developing a fossil quarry site. SSP oversaw a phased master plan that included a schematic design for a new Science Research, Discovery, and Interpretive Center on the site. This plan, concept design and visualization helped Rowan attract a $25 million Endowment from Jean and Ric Edelman.

SSP is proud to have played an important role in helping Rowan fulfill its quest to provide a globally significant research center while delivering high quality science education and experiential learning opportunities to students and the public.
