Heather brings a wealth of design and detailing experience to SSP, having worked on a wide variety of project types throughout her career. Most recently focused on transportation projects, Heather has had a hand in designing everything from public sector buildings to historic preservation, commercial, and interiors. Her thoughtfulness and attention to detail are her greatest assets as an architect; assets which she strives to instill in the team members she works with.
Heather’s interest in the building envelope has her always investigating new details, products, and methods, which continually improves her game. She is a talented project manager, always trying to balance her projects’ scopes, schedules, and budgets.
A true architect’s architect, Heather’s interest in the profession does not stop when she leaves work for the day. She has taught Material Tectonics and LEED courses at Rutgers University, and is an ambassador for the Living Building Challenge. She has served as a Planning Board member for five years in her current hometown, and for two years when she lived in New York.
