Increased Recognition of Our Award-Winning SSP Architects Design Staff
There was a triple-header of awards this year for SSP design leaders that reflects the firm’s inclusive, talented and deeply committed staff.
The award season began with Senior Principal Jeanne Perantoni winning the NJBIZ ICON Award – citing her leadership in guiding our long-time Women Owned Business to greater heights.
This was followed by SSP Principal Tammy Stouchko being named a 2023 NJBIZ Best 50 Women in Business Honoree – citing the respect she has earned from clients, contractors and building officials during her 18-year career at SSP, as well as taking extra time to mentor younger staff members. This is especially the case with younger women just starting out their careers – sharing with them insights into what it means to be a female succeeding in a male dominated profession.
In December, SSP’s Project Manager Cory Wilkerson received the 40 Under 40 Award from the Somerset County Business Partnership for being among this year’s top young leaders of the County’s business community.
SSP Principal Marcus Rosenau garnered greater awareness of the overall advantages of the Design-Build method of construction for schools, commercial and civic projects by speaking at this year’s NJAC Annual Conference.
The entire SSP Architects team looks forward to building on these successes in 2024. We will continue our work to create buildings and spaces where communities can thrive. Our team will always keep in mind that as community architects, the buildings, and spaces we design are part of the bigger story – one that elevates people, helps them better interact with each other, and creates a more sustainable, healthier, and inspiring built environment.
