Congratulations to Raritan Valley Community College and the Workforce Training Center for Achieving LEED Certification!
Working with SSP Architects and M&E Engineers, Inc. this project hits a trifecta of important construction-related issues:
- Most people spend about 90% of their time INSIDE buildings. Through LEED and best design practices for indoor quality, we improve user outcomes, experience, and health.
- Buildings account for more than 40% of all energy use in the US. This RVCC building is powered fully by solar – net zero energy consumption.
- Workforce training and developing skills in the trades is one of the most critical areas of labor need. This building sets the stage for career success for those interested in these vital fields.
